The exhibition could be described as an assemblage of confused installation fragments. Confusing as time itself.
You know, the artist as the eternally wronged individual with an ego complex, carrying the social memory complex on his shoulders.
Shake it off, shake it off!
Recently he has more or less stopped to understand what he is doing. Mainly because he started to suspect that no matter what one think one does, one is wrong anyway. He used to think he was dealing with space, creating atmospheres and experiences, but maybe he is more interested in light after all.
Frido Evers (1980) er en hollandsk kunstner bosatt i Oslo. Han jobber hovedsakelig med tre, og har til denne utstillingen produsert en rekke skulpturelle konstruksjoner. Evers har vært å se på Preview Berlin, Puls Art Fair i NY, Art Amsterdam, ONO Gallery, Kunstnerforbundet og Kunstnernes Hus, og med soloutstilling på Galleri Maria Veie, der han ombygget gallerirommet til å se ut som både en hage, og en månebase.

Frido Evers (1980) is a Dutch artist living in Oslo. He works primarily with wood, and has for this exhibition produced a series of sculptural constructions. Evers has been showcased at Preview Berlin, Pulse Art Fair in NY, Art Amsterdam, ONO Gallery, Kunstnerforbundet and Kunstnernes Hus, and with a solo exhibition at Gallery Maria Veie, where he transformed the gallery space into something which looked like both a garden and a lunar base.
